Latest news: Zenithink 10″ Tablet On Sale At Amazon.com

I am writing this review after owing Zenithink 10″ Tablet for almost three weeks. It was delivered to me within the expected shipping time. I am quite use to the android interface and in my tablet also I find the interface very user friendly. After checking it out completely, I did not find any problem related to the functionality of the tablet. The prices of Zenithink 10″ Tablet is very affordable and after comparing it with a number of other similar products I found it to be very economical. The battery backup of the tablet is average. When fully charged I can work on my tablet for two to three hours continuously which is sufficient for a small size product like this. I have to enable my Wi-Fi every time I switch my tablet on.

Zenithink 10″ Tablet have a micro SD card slot using which I can transfer data from my micro SD card I use in my mobile. It also has two USB ports using which it becomes very easy to transfer application from my desktop to the tablet. I also created a back-up in my desktop. Another additional slot is provided which is HDMI port through which I watch videos in my TV by playing it in tablet. My tablet was unable to read I file so I saved that file as .apk file in my computer and then using a memory card when I open it in tablet, the file was recognised and open by the tablet. But this situation hardly arises because Zenithink 10″ Tablet recognise and open almost all the formats I try on opening on it. in order to view PDF file I needed to download abode for android. I found the touch screen to be responsive but I am not completely satisfied with it. The multi touch gestures being offered by it are not completely efficient. Another problem I am facing with this is that there are not many applications to be used on the tablet and some higher version application simply refuse to work on it.

The audio system is good and the quality of sound is not at all bad. But while watching movie I always feel the need to connect a set of headphones. Thus I can say that quality of speaker is very good but the volume of speakers is inadequate. The NVidia processor works at frequency of 1 GHz which is sufficient for such small product. I don’t find the memory sufficient so I use 32 GB USB for storing my data and I plug it in whenever required. Though it doesn’t allow you to work on long emails or spreadsheet but overall the tablet gives you good value for your money. It is cheaper than many others and very convenient for watching movies, videos or playing games. It is small in size, light in weight which makes it easier to carry. So from entertainment and light work the tablet is a good option to go with.

Latest News : Samsung Galaxy Tablet On Sale At Amazon.com

The Pros

The Samsung’s Android Tab is a major challenger to Apple iPad with two cameras with similar Flash and a more commodious size

The Cons

The Tab is more like a bigger Android phone than a Net book substitute. The Android OS and its application is not optimized to handle large screens

Although Galaxy Tab is a good product with features similar to iPad but its mediate size and carrier commitments and in-between size

Since April 2010, with Apple iPad launch, leading competitors are trying to fit in with competitive tablet alternatives with there varied physical appearance. However Samsung has designed the most competitive one, an unbeatable product for the region in terms of both shape and features. Its tab screen measures 7 inches and has Android 2.2 OS. The US Carrier like AT&T, Verizon, T-mobile & Sprint offers a price range of $399 and $499 with two different Tab versions and different payment plans.

Tablet’s design

The screen is half the size of Apple ipad with 1024*600 pixel density tightened which can fit easily in the pocket. The screen of the tablet uses a multi touch technology at par with Apple ipad in both response time and utility. Samsung has two cameras one front facing above the screen with 1.3 mega pixel and 3 mega pixels camera at the rear. It has android-style menu task bar along with headphone jack on top, volume & power buttons on side, pair of built-in speakers and Samsung Dock connectors on the bottom.

Overall, Samsung Tab functions like big Android smart phone with no physical support needed unlike Apple ipad for which you need a table or support it on your lap.

Tablet’s Features

Samsung GT is also popular for its physical appearance i.e. short and convenient

It has latest Android 2.2 experience inclusive of all related applications along with market support. Built-in accelerometer sensor which reorients the screen with the way we hold the tab is a excellent option. Also available is an optimized applications like contacts, calendar & memo for a better view and facility of sliding screens sideways as needed.

One of the unbeatable advantages tab has is its Adobe Flash 10.1 capability, allowing all the web’s Flash video content.

Tablet’s Overall performance

With bundle of technologies working like Flash video playback, GPS and Bluetooth the battery back up can obviously get low rating. However if one uses basic features like Web browsing, email etc and pulling off GPS, Bluetooth and 3G can help in getting as much as 7 hours of battery life with active Wi-Fi.

Samsung’s age on expertise of creating high standards of portable media players is evident in this tablet. So the performance of audio, video and photos are equally competitive.

All in all it’s a great product especially from the portability aspect and comparatively an ipad lacks Adobe Flash support, video camera, memory expansion and drag –drop file support. This is certainly an advantage for the Samsung Galaxy Tablet. So I would rate it as a five star product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a tablet.

I kept an eye on a device like this for ages to use at work. I do not use laptops to take notes. The screen and write inverted noise is a distraction for a conversation. This machine provides an experiment as using pen and paper with all the benefits of electronic ticket.

>> ASUS Eee Slate EP121-1A011M Price Comparision

The combination of a scanner and handwriting recognition and rejection of large palm OneNote, and the overall design of the tablet itself help to make the best machine I’ve seen taking notes. The tablet is fairly burdensome, but still very pleasant to grip in the palm of my hand or hollow of my arm. Also, supported in a panel. The needle comes out of the tablet itself is not obliged to use a case (not me). The shelf is very thin and there is a boundary for a solid grip that you avoid touching the screen.

The display itself is superb – very bright and fresh. This is perhaps the first thing you notice once you pick it up. Touch interface is also sprightlier than I expected, but the pinch zoom is not as charming as the iPhone / IPAD.

I was amazed by the experience of email and browsing (with Outlook, Gmail and Firefox). Clicking the links and small icons in reality is not as difficult as expected, the touchpad works fine, and windows picks write quite well. You’re not going to write a page long e-mail with ease, but there is always the option of using a Bluetooth or USB keyboard and mouse if necessary.

Windows applications work well, an experience similar to a laptop i5. The game is not so bad. Civ5 works pretty well, and I hope more of the puzzle and strategy games for the job. Not so in games where you concern about fps. Videos look pronounced, again a bit like a laptop i5.

The desire of the battery life was better. With the brightness is greater, I get about 3 hours. I can press 4 and 5 am if I get a little. That means they have to charge mid-way through the day, which is a pain.

Password entry is not very large. You must use the virtual keyboard, and for security reasons, does not light the keys. It’s easy to screw up. The desire of the tablet has a fingerprint reader or other support to facilitate the entry of the password.

Well no, obviously, the address to native OS Windows 7 tracks – as difficult to play the window buttons, etc., but if you are looking for Windows 7-based tablets, this is an great option. Also, do not have a Windows Market Place as Android / Apple, usage is still going to be of the PC (Start -> Control Panel:)) So if I do not like, this tablet will not do any magic. If desired, Microsoft does things differently in Windows 8.

Battery life: With a screen size of 12.1 “and a powerful system, you cannot expect that this system performs as iPad But I think you can easily do 5-6 hours of continuous use.

Overall I am very pleased with this tablet. I recommend it to anyone who wants to use a machine at work or school (or home if you use Windows applications or office suite a lot).

I purchased this tablet after playing with it in a T-Mobile shop. I also tested the Samsung Galaxy tab as well when I was there. This tab hits the water so that the output goes .. but the tab has best graphics thanks to its resolution of 1,024 by 600 display. But for myself was not difficult to get the Xoom Streak.I get the Motorola but is priced too high for my range of 7 to about almost the same characteristics as Xoom the I cannot see losing almost $ 900 for Xoom.

The battery life on the line 7 is about my complaint. But i just bought a car charger for however. Others, that this is an incredibly well. Games perfect. The screen responds as Asphalt 5 look amazing about it! 4G incredible speeds are to be able to go anywhere and use the same thing. I got rid of my Archos Internet 70 days after your purchase contact item. Plus my brand new iPod (generation 4e) contains almost now dust. Apple allows you to view flash based web sites. Series 7 has no problem loading the desktop version of CNN and ESPN websites. Plus get this compressed honeycomb 3.0 when Tegra 2 comes with dual-core processor. There is no pill that can compete with it for now.

4G (technically, not 4G, but just as fast) and 7-inch screen is really all you need. The tablets larger than 10 inches are not exactly portable. If I wanted that I take my laptop. The processing speed is great as well. Battery life is excellent. I use all day at work, check email; take notes and lasts until I get home. That’s better than the majority of phones if overloaded. SD CARD SIZE! Marvelous! You can quickly view photos directly from my SLR. Video recording is impressive as well. Grande sound and quality. Video IM on the 3G network was not nearly as ruffled my test in June 2010 on Sprint with my friend and my HTC EVO.

I am not a great fan of Dell interface. However, you can change that in the free market. Download the launcher ADW to personalize or any other screen at home.No place to attack (do it as a hot spot for others), however. This probably can be done using a market application, but can rely on to do so.

No HDMI output. Not that I use, but in others no USB connectors. It would be nice to set up a simple keyboard if I have a lot of notes to take. Bluetooth works well and although the keyboard is very nice stock that is on the line. You cannot remove the battery (at least to my knowledge).

However, I am very happy with my purchase. The cons are nit elements chosen to make it perfect. I have had many Android phones so if you are a new Android, this may take some time to adapt and find all large applications. Android is not as intuitive as the iPad, but is more customizable.
