I kept an eye on a device like this for ages to use at work. I do not use laptops to take notes. The screen and write inverted noise is a distraction for a conversation. This machine provides an experiment as using pen and paper with all the benefits of electronic ticket.

The combination of a scanner and handwriting recognition and rejection of large palm OneNote, and the overall design of the tablet itself help to make the best machine I’ve seen taking notes. The tablet is fairly burdensome, but still very pleasant to grip in the palm of my hand or hollow of my arm. Also, supported in a panel. The needle comes out of the tablet itself is not obliged to use a case (not me). The shelf is very thin and there is a boundary for a solid grip that you avoid touching the screen.
The display itself is superb – very bright and fresh. This is perhaps the first thing you notice once you pick it up. Touch interface is also sprightlier than I expected, but the pinch zoom is not as charming as the iPhone / IPAD.
I was amazed by the experience of email and browsing (with Outlook, Gmail and Firefox). Clicking the links and small icons in reality is not as difficult as expected, the touchpad works fine, and windows picks write quite well. You’re not going to write a page long e-mail with ease, but there is always the option of using a Bluetooth or USB keyboard and mouse if necessary.
Windows applications work well, an experience similar to a laptop i5. The game is not so bad. Civ5 works pretty well, and I hope more of the puzzle and strategy games for the job. Not so in games where you concern about fps. Videos look pronounced, again a bit like a laptop i5.
The desire of the battery life was better. With the brightness is greater, I get about 3 hours. I can press 4 and 5 am if I get a little. That means they have to charge mid-way through the day, which is a pain.
Password entry is not very large. You must use the virtual keyboard, and for security reasons, does not light the keys. It’s easy to screw up. The desire of the tablet has a fingerprint reader or other support to facilitate the entry of the password.
Well no, obviously, the address to native OS Windows 7 tracks – as difficult to play the window buttons, etc., but if you are looking for Windows 7-based tablets, this is an great option. Also, do not have a Windows Market Place as Android / Apple, usage is still going to be of the PC (Start -> Control Panel:)) So if I do not like, this tablet will not do any magic. If desired, Microsoft does things differently in Windows 8.
Battery life: With a screen size of 12.1 “and a powerful system, you cannot expect that this system performs as iPad But I think you can easily do 5-6 hours of continuous use.
Overall I am very pleased with this tablet. I recommend it to anyone who wants to use a machine at work or school (or home if you use Windows applications or office suite a lot).
